The Value Chain Development Programme (VCDP) is an initiative of the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN), funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). The programme supports rice and cassava smallholder farmers using a value-chain approach to boost productivity, promote agro-processing, and improve market access.
